This product worked out of the box as a DP/DP solution, however despite using a 4K DP/HDMI cable, it failed to connect my HDMI laptop.Tried researching for solutions such as DP/HDMI converters etc but found the mixed reviews and lack of quality advice frustrating.I’m using the monitors HDMI port for the laptop, which is annoying when I’ve a £400 kvm on my desk!The unit comes with a good selection of cables.The button array on the unit isn’t as tactile as I’d expect. Each button press comes with a beep which as far as I’m aware can’t be turned off.The switch latency between multiple devices is reasonable - Difficult to quantify in words unless I had a device to measure in milliseconds, so apologies if my review lacks that detail.I’ve not had any errors or unexpected behaviour since installing so overall I’m happy with the performance.Price wise it’s on the high side as a home purchase but necessary I think if working from home and need a reliable solution.The sound quality is questionable. It wasn’t a factor for me but I use occasionally and find it lets the unit down with interference, intermittent connectivity and generally very poor sound quality in both head phones and desktop speakers. I wouldn’t recommend this device if sound connectivity is an important requirement.Others may have a different views and experiences.

I have had this KVM for ~2 years now and have had very few complaints. I have 4 computers connected to it (3 PC's Windows 10, Linux Ubuntu 18.04), and one Mac. There are many things that I like about this device and overall I have very few complaints. You will need to plan on purchasing your own cables for it as it doesn't come with any, and be sure that you use quality DisplayPort cables. I have it connected to 2 Dell U2417H monitors and they work consistently, and are not blurry. I have found as another reviewer mentioned that if the computer goes to sleep that sometimes one of the monitors will not immediately come back. I have found if I power off that monitor and then turn it back on the issue resolves itself. Really only a problem if I let it sit overnight. Devices connected to the USB hub work as I would expect. I used to use an old PS2 keyboard with a USB adapter connected to it, but found that for some reason I would loose the keyboard on occasion, so I switched to a modern USB keyboard and all is good. The mac was a little tricky as natively the Mac only supported the one monitor. I was able to work around this by getting a dock that had two display port out connectors on it to connect to the KVM. Overall it simplified my setup anyway, now I only have one cable to connect.I would say that if you are going to use this and want to minimize issues I would recommend a high quality dock for your device to connect to the KVM. It will simplify your life, minimize shuffling cables and really clean up your deskspace.On all my setups I am using the native laptop monitor as a 3rd screen to the two external monitors with one set as my primary one.

Muy buen KVM, funciono como se esperaba. Viene sin cables por lo que hay que comprarlos por separado.

I have two computers at my desk and I wanted a SOHO KVM to switch between them. This switch is works great, it does at times lose the mouse or keyboard, but a quick unplug and reboot, fixes that. For the price it is a great buy.
