It's hard to tell from the pictures, but these are solid metal post caps.They are not the flat metal, folded into a cap shape, with places for the water to seep in.They are 100% solid metal, and I'm not kidding - seem like they will last longer than the lifetime of the wood itself.The finish is really beautiful too, it's a flat black, matte texture, which I'm happy about because there will be no glare when the sun hits it at certain angles. I like my matte black very matte, and these are very matte.Definitely recommend!

We recently built a fence from 4x4 posts and chicken wire, and found these caps to give the fence a more finished look. They fit as expected and installed easily. I recommend going slow with the screws since they aren't the highest quality, but they do their job of holding the cap in place. Recommend for sure.

The post caps came individually wrapped in bubble wrap to keep them from damaging one another and included matching black screws and installation instructions that were simple to read and easy to follow. The caps are thick aluminum with a nice, matt black powder coating that will prevent rust. The double pyramid on top provides a more interesting and decorative look than the regular one pyramid cap. These provided a very nice, finished look to a simple wood deck.

These black matte pyramid post caps look really nice on the fence posts in our back yard. They are high-quality aluminum alloy, and promoted as anti-corrosion, rust-proof and UV-protected. Our rainy weather will certainly put them to the test over time. There are six of them, and are quite easy to install.

This 6-pack set of aluminum post caps is good value. They are true to size and on my posts they fit nicely. There is no slop, nor will I have to trim down the posts. The screws will sit flat, not proud, of the molded cap body. The finish evenly coats tops and undersides of the caps.To complete a new fencing section, 5 of these caps will be used for line posts and the 6th will top a 9’ tall post that has a collection of cedar birdhouses. For me, the caps’ most important function is to protect the wood. That they add subtle style in the garden is a bonus.
