Surprisingly good. I got this because it is one of the rare 100% cotton art journals at a reasonable price point. Been using it with watercolors, pencil, color pencils, markers. No bleed through of any inks and watercolors, able to layer and lift watercolors. There seems to be some decent sizing in it, so watercolors work well here (but certainly not as well as top range 100% cotton watercolor paper). Doesn’t lay flat easily, I use a strong book clip to keep it open while in use.

Good quality and bends nice when you get to the last pages. It’s not copic marker proof to where it doesn’t bleed through the page but it won’t go on to the next page. I was able to do watercolor pretty good too!

La calidad de papel es buena, solo me decepcionó que era portada suave (fue mi error en no prestar atención en pedirla). Pienso que por el costo que yo pagué era muy caro de ser tamaño pequeño y con la portada blanda. Este tipo de portada no es comodo usar ya que o se abre bien. Sin embargo papel es bueno. Lo use para acuarela y la resistio muy bien

This journal fits right in my bag hassle free, so I have it with me all the time ready to sketch. The page is not too small, so I enjoy the space I have for anecdotes and drawings.

An exellent journal, but I would like an elastic rope to shut the journal entirely because it doesn't remains flat after use and other thing is that it can be difficult to open-flat, so in that case I woukd recommend the hard-bound version.
