I use fountain pens for drawing, with different types of ink (different colors, consistencies, and brands). I always look first for a pen that has a converter and that can use packaged refills as well, so I can use my stock of drawing ink. This pen meets this mark.The nib is fine and the quality of the whole pen is very good. It feels good and it is almost the perfect weight for my liking, not too light and not too heavy. However, adding the cap while drawing will put more weight.The nib is quite smooth and responsive. It handles line thickness and change of line directions quite well. Overall, this is a towards a high end fountain pen that is quite reliable (so far, haven't seen any drips or other issues). Nice gift idea as well.

It’s an expensive, but very detailed and attractive fountain pen. It comes nicely packaged as well. I used some ink cartridges in it, but it had some flow issues. I was not very happy with its performance. Getting it reflowing after stopping use took too much effort. It is possible that some of the ink was complicit, but I haven’t had this problem with much cheaper pens. I really wanted to love this pen, but it is sitting around while I use other, cheaper pens.

I'm not going to beat a dead horse, there are many detailed reviews here that cover the same points that I would make about this pen already:- good materials- well packaged- nice weight (though cannot post)- flow well, when it flows (can be tough to get flowing after sitting for a bit)Overall, for the price this is marked at, I'd opt for a lower-priced, entry-level fountain pen as my Lamy Safari is WAY more reliable when I need to just pick up and write. Good pen, but can be held back by small issues.
