I've been using 2.0 chalk for some time now and love it so I figured try a Taom pro medium tip.I am a cue maker and put hundreds of tips on per year so installation was done by me.The tip cut and shaped fabulously just make sure you prep it and shave the printed top layer off completely.Overall it plays like the new Everest tips with that vacuum laminated sound. It holds Taom chalk pretty well, not sure of any other brand. After about 1000 balls or so it held shape nicely and broke in a little.English is good, seems draw shots require a bit more force compared to a kamui med black..overall its a good consistent hit but personally the tone is not quite to my liking. This was installed on a custom radial laminated shaft with old micarta ferrule.I might try a taom soft pro on a custom carbon fiber in a few weeks and review also.
