I got this for my 2018 Honda CRV for fun but was a little skeptical that the wood grain on the shifter wouldn’t be an exact match to the wood grain detail on the dash and doors. I was pleasantly surprised when I put it on because they match perfectly (the lighting isn’t the greatest in the photo but in real life they are identical). The cover slips right over the existing cover and fits like it came on my car from the factory. It took 10 seconds to install and looks great! I highly recommend it if you’re looking to spruce up your interior.

This clipped easily over the shift control knob on my 2020 Honda CR-V. It's Peach woodgrain pattern matches the interior trim nearly perfectly. It says it will fit vehicles from 2017-2022. There are adhesive strips inside of it that I did not use as is clips on very well without using them. This is plastic, jut to be clear, but looks as realistic as the car trim plastic parts do.

I am so surprised at this lovely shift knob cover. It actually fits. I didn't take off the double sided sticky tape (I'm assuming that's what it is, there were no instructions with it, though it's kind of self-explanatory). I just wanted to see if it would even fit, and by golly it just snapped right on and into place. I think it looks very good! There is a bit of a seam that you can see on the side, but it's not that obvious. Mostly the piece is printed plastic and it looks just like the rest of the wood detail that was already in my car. It's a perfect match to the peach wood that is already the dashboard accent. So I deem it a success! The only not so great thing about the knob is that the seams do show on the sides a little bit and I'm afraid to try to take it off because it felt fragile like it wouldn't flex well enough and would crack in two pieces.

When I saw the listing for this Wood Grain Molded Shift Knob Cover, I knew I had to order it. The Peach Wood color looked exactly like the trim in the Wifey’s 2019 CR-V Touring model. It is made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic, which is a very strong and durable polymer that has a bonded wood grain coating over it. The 3 attached double sided tape strips are already in place, making it a simple installation by removing the red strip covers, then sliding the top over the front of the knob, then snapping the back side down. Unfortunately, over the time, the pho weather on my 2020 shift or knob was peeling off. I went to the dealership for a fix and it was a ridiculous price. I’m well aware that it shouldn’t be coming off already, but maybe my husband is just too rough on it. This seemed like a perfect alternative. It was easy to install and took seconds to put over the old worn material. It does have an adhesive tape, but for now we just clipped it over instead of using that and it stays perfectly so no problem. The choice is yours . I really appreciate not having to look at that nasty shift and this looks so clean.
