Never use a crib with this alternative if your baby room can fit a twin. We don’t use it with slats cause my husband and could get in and sleep with my little boy if needed. Just weeded a bunch of crib pumpers and mesh around the sides for safety. In and out freedom is amazing for both kids and adults!

Overall, it’s okay for the price. Beds similar to this were going for over $700 on Etsy. Pretty easy to put together. No strong smell like other reviews mentioned and nothing came damaged.A few areas could be improved. There are not enough slats for support underneath the mattress. We bought a twin size slat board that worked better than the seven individual ones they provided. Our mattress is a twin size, 75” x 38”, and made in the United States. We have significant gaps between the mattress and the frame, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue with our toddler. I don’t see it lasting him long, but it’s a good transition bed from a crib.

This was a great bed to transition to from a crib, our toddler loves it and I feel comfortable knowing he won't roll out at night. Fits great even in smaller rooms and matches all his existing grey furniture from graco, very easy to set up to.

Definitely not a twin, more like twin Xl had to get a new mattress to fill the gaps. Should change the description because it’s way too long for an average twin mattress.

Is super easy to put together I was able to complete in 20ish minutes by myself however it’s not super sturdy (everything was properly assembled)
