Esactly what I was looking for. A not too expencive split keyboard to start out with. Works great and it has only taken me about a week to get use to the layout after adapting it to what I needed.

Awesome keyboard. A few screws fell out during shipping but they were still in the box, not a deal breaker. Keyboard works as it should. Very happy.

If you know what to expect, this won't disappoint. It's a micro form factor, meaning you have to use various layers and combos to get all the characters you see in a normal keyboard. I've used various mechanical keyboards from indie creators and tinkered around a bit myself, and am quite pleased with this one! VIAL is relatively easy to use, and you don't have to worry about losing support for proprietary firmware (been there!), everything works, it's comfortable to use, and it's under $80 - even compact from factors will run over $200, and I've spent over $500 on higher end ergonomic split mechanical boards (worth it, imo, if you type a lot and this little guy is easily worth $79)

Some of the keys on the keyboard were not working. The sandwich-style plate was extremely fragile and a lot of the screws were loose. There are only 3x5 rows in the keyboard, so if you find yourself needing symbols, numbers, or other characters, you might wanna look for a 4x5 or 3x6 instead. The keyboard was relatively small, so you can carry it if you want. The keycaps are very cheap and switches are terrible to type on. The board was too light, so it would shake when you type on it. The price is a lot compared to what you get.

The keyboard arrived without a delete or backspace keys, just a little of pain in the backside! The software from Vial wasn't working very well either. Though this would arrive with illuminated keys, no such luck, I will look for another board. Other than that the keys worked ok!
