Opened the package and one of the connectors latching clip was broken. Now it will not stay plugged in.

The item that arrived is exactly as described and advertised. It shipped quickly, and arrived at my office door when needed. Seems to be working well as we can once again send/receive a fax

I wanted to love this thing because I needed it to get my hp all in one printer to be able to fax. I followed other reviews lead, and purchased this. I found the actual cord to be very flimsy AND, no matter what I did, it would not work. I specifically bought this cord because of the 2 wire as opposed to the 4 wire problem. While the Verizon Repair person was there fix a TV issue totally unrelated to this, I asked if he could take a look at it. He was such a nice guy and he replaced one of the plastic plug-things. I really didn't think that would work, but it did! Basically, what I thought was something I didn't set up properly, was really the cord with a faulty connection to it's plug. Judging by the flimsy feeling of the cord, I guess this was a reasonable explanation as to why it didn't work. Now the fax works like a charm. Please note that I didn't contact the company because I really thought I set something up wrong, so I can't attest to the company's customer service. I just wanted to put this out there in case someone else has this experience.

This product works with the phone/fax line of my HP Laser Jet Pro MFP477fnw printer.. It is my understanding that not all cable wires work. I have been using it for a few weeks. Hopefully it will continue working.
