Fairly easy install, this was replacing an existing deadbolt so I simply had to remove it prior to the install. Only issues encountered were when I misread the instructions.Programming the unit gave me more grief but again, mostly self inflicted. Master password updated OK but I fought for a while trying to get the first fingerprint loaded. I wanted to use my right index finger but it kept failing, I eventually tried a different finger and no issue. Got several fingers and thumbs loaded but the right index never did work.Auto lock works fine for me (activation required), I went for the 30 second time frame but if that’s too long for you to wait, hit any keypad button for two seconds and whatever delay time you chose will be bypassed for an immediate lock.

Great kids don't need keys cut and lost works great. Great can switch of altolock and switch back on finger print work great just keep hands dry and having code helps as well. Battery life seems good so far haven't needed to replace yet thanks

I really like this keypad door. I was never very great at locking my outside garage, so I put it on that door and it is great! It locks by itself after 30 seconds, so I don’t have to worry about whether or not I locked the door at night. To unlock it, I just put in my code. Much easier than carrying around keys.The instructions were great! If you have never installed a door knob before, then I recommend reading through the instructions once, then go for it. If you have installed a door knob before, I still recommend you read through them once–not like I did and have to go back to adjust the door handle.I like that the door handles are not on at first, so that they are easy to put on the right way–with the curved part down. I also like that it was really easy to program. Just make sure you keep the instructions or take a picture of them in case you have to re-program the lock. The locking mechanism is smooth and quiet when it locks or unlocks.There is really nothing about this door knob that I don’t like. If there was one thing that I would have to say, it would be that the edges are a little more defined and “edgy” than the other door knobs I have, but that is really not a big deal, they are nice looking and function well.
