After 2 years the female andcsp that holds the screw fell out. Also it shows rust...I also like that it's hollow and acts like storage

We want to use our Action camera around and in the swimming pool. I hate to loose the camera in the water so we got this floating selfie stick. This works wonders. I am not really using it as a selfie stick, but just as a handle for the camera. If I accidentally let go (I tested this) the stick has enough air in it to stay afloat with the camera attached.The stick also has a lanyard attachment to make it doubly secure. I did not use that because a wet lanyard just did not feel great on my wrist. I think if I had a silicon landyard (Telesin are you reading this?) that will be better.One last secret feature — the bottom of the stick unscrews! It is a little bit of storage area that I put some bills in there so that we can use it for tips etc.

Pretty impressed with the "thought" the engineer put into this selfie stick.First, it's not extendable, what you see is what you get in the main image. Which is fine by me.But the really cool thing is that it does float, but you have an end you can unscrew and put money or rings, earrings, etc. in - very handy. There's a seal on the screw in part to keep those items dry.Also, on the bottom of it is a screw hole to put in one of the mounts, as well, that same mount can go on the top section too. It is designed to handle the GoPro cameras, etc.. but also support if you want to slap a cell phone on it as it comes with an adapter for that too. And that adapter has TWO screw holes where you can mount the camera either portrait or landscape modes. Again, smart designer!Lastly, comes with a lanyard that has an adjustable wrist that you can tighten and lock in place on your wrist so it does not get away from you. But if it did, it will float.The grip is anti-slip, as you can see the texture in it - which is again, a nice touch.Just a very smartly designed in the water selfie/floating stick to make those capturing moments easier without worry about the risk behind losing your camera. But can also be used with your phone for those other out of the water moments or those phones that are waterproof. The clamp spring is very tight.Overall, does what you'd want out of a selfie stick, especially with a GoPro attached and underwater. With the ability for it to float, as well, store some things inside of the handle is great! Along with the smart designs on where the mounting holes are and a phone mount option too. Great deal!
