These watercolor notebooks are not as nice as others I have used. The pages are perforated, so I am afraid the little paintings will fall out before long. The pages buckle under the water more. Elastic is thin, and the paper tears with masking tape (that has never torn any papers before this). I won't buy this again.

The paper is good, not great but I wasn't expecting great for this price. I needed something to take on a long flight that was portable and this fit the bill. I like the band that keeps it shut, when you start painting the pages get crinkled and this keeps it all neat. You don't get as many pages in the book but you get two books so I think it's a win. Glad I got them and glad they had two sizes to choose from. Overall, I am happy i got this and would recommend
