Great option for Ryobi battery charging. I tried it out with one of my 4Ah batteries and it worked just as it should. I like the smaller form factor as it makes it easy to store on a shelf or mount on the wall. Good value for the money!

I have 4 Ryobi batteries and only a single charger. Priced out single and dual Ryobi charger and they were way too expensive. This charger was MUCH less costly. I bought another after marker charger that works well and though I would give this one a try as also way less costly than a Ryobi charger. This charger works as advertised but a little less sturdy that the other one I bought. Mounted on wall in shop and so far working as advertised. Can now charge 3 batteries and always have a freshly charged battery for my may Ryobi tools.

The charger has a 6 ft power cord and came with an Instruction Manual.Once I plugged in the charger, the LED indicator displayed a solid red color. My 18V battery easily snapped into the charger and it immediately started to charge (The LED indicator went from solid red to a blinking green light). Once charged, the indicator light went to a solid green. Also, my battery has LED indicator lights, and they showed that it was fully charged. So, I can say that the charger works fine.

I noticed when I first picked this charger up I noticed how very lite it is. Actually, it turns out the actual charging electricals are in the part that plugs into the wall and the charger base appears to just be a lite shell. Anyway, I plugged am empty battery in and checked it an hour later and the light on the charger was flashing green. There was no indication on the battery or the charger that the charging was complete. So when I pulled the battery off and checked it by pressing the button on the battery, it said 4 bars, so I guess it was fully charged. I then plugged in another dead battery and then this time the bars started blinking on the battery and after an hour, it was still blinking only two bars. So I'm not sure this charger is working properly or not. One last note. The part that plugs into the wall gets hot which is unnerving. I can't recommend this charger.

This charger came to my house quickly and more than meets expectations. It is a quick charge indeed, which is perfect when I needed it for set building yesterday. I was able to keep a fresh battery charged while draining my backup and vice versa. A great value over a name brand charger. I am hopeful the charge is durable and as long lasting as it seems it will be!
