I used it as a replacement foot pedal for a skeet thrower that uses a 12 out battery. It worked perfectly. The attached wire was a little shorter than I had, but it worked fine. It seems the switch itself inside the foot pedal is well made and durable.

Steel upper and lower, Rubber feet and foot rest.3 wire out, 1 common, 1 press on and 1 press off. All wired in and working OK to key a transmitter. We'll see how it stands up, time will tell.

My friend Nick bought one of these to key his HAM radios. I have a similar switch but it is old and ready to fail at any time. So I bought this as an eventual replacement. Very well built and flexible design.

I bought one of these for Amateur Radio and the quality is top notch. Great value for these days. Worked great on my transceiver and HEil mic.

This peddle is much nicer than the another one I bought. The metal case is heavier gauge, and the cord is a jacketed cord instead of a thin wire. This one also has rubber feet instead of a thin rubber backing. At half the cost of the other peddle I know which one I will buy again.Also note this is a back hinge instead of a front hinge so you step on the top-front of the peddle instead of the top-back. For a momentary peddle it is feels more natural to hold down the front than the back.
