Since this is a set of 3 package, I installed this on 3 different laptop models. The manufacture states clearly on their advertising "Compatible with all devices". Not true. The first laptop is a Asus Zephyrus G14 (2024). For this laptop, this webcam cover is too wide to install on the black glass frame where the camera hole is located. When installed, it overhangs the top of the OLED screen, which is unsightly and blocks part of the screen. You cannot install it higher up as there is a ridge on the laptop cover framework.The 2nd issue I had which I experienced on ALL 3 laptops I installed this webcam cover on is that it does not stick very well. Once it is applied, the adhesive backing does not firmly stick to the laptop screen surface, no matter if it is glass or plastic. You can push and move the installed item from its original mounted position very easily and the sticky backing does not hold very well.The 3rd issue I had was the finish quality. This is a thin metal piece, and each one has 2 noticeable pointed sharp edges on each of the short sides. I would guess this is from the manufacturing process when the pieces were connected together, and then snap apart at these junctions This is sharp and does not feel smooth when running your finger along the edges. It also catches hair and fluff when you are trying to clean your laptop, because it snags whatever comes in contact with it. With the edged being jagged, and the item being metal, I feel there are concerns about damaging or scratching the laptop palm rest surface when closing the lid and/or travelling. Obviously this wouldn't be an issue on a phone or tablet, as there is no lid to close.The 4th issue I had is the packaging. It is impossible to open the package without destroying it. So you basically own it once you finally get into it. The product is so hard to remove and you risk bending them, because they are practically embedded in the cardboard.I have attached some undoctored photos. One is showing the snagged debris from my paper towel used to clean it, where you can also see the 2 sharp points on the short sides. . Another picture I also show the packaging, which was difficult to open and probably cannot return. The last photo shows the undesirable placement option on my one laptop.Overall, nice concept, as it was appealing to me based on its very small size. The slider mechanism actually works really well. I think the material finishing could be a lot better and better smoothing to finish the product in manufacturing. For my one laptop, the product has to be even smaller than it is for me to use it. The self-proclaimed "World's Smallest" webcam cover needs to get even smaller! A piece of electric tape can beat this product, unfortunately.

It stays put and is very discreet… so much you may forget you need to slide open .. you can forget you can slide open and close. Very tiny providing full lens coverage .

This is a good camera cover that does the job and is thin enough to use on a 2021 macbook pro without damaging the screen when you close he lid. If you use it on an iphone it can get knocked off by other things that can rub against it in your pocket. In my case it came off after it rubbed pretty hard against my wallet when I pulled my phone out, and that was too much for the glue that holds it on. You will need to be careful about how you put it in your pocket and what is in your pocket it to avoid that. Once it comes off it won't stick back on again. That's probably why they come in 3 packs. Would still buy again. You just need to be careful and buy more to have on hand when they come off, if you use it on your phone.

Great little invention, works much better than electrical tape! No issue fitting it on an iPad, or husband's Galaxy Edge with Otter case, but my Galaxy S8 with Lanhiem case took a little work. I ended up having to use a dremel to shave off much of the top edge of the slider so that it wouldn't cover the camera lens. Still not a perfect fit, but adheres well, doesn't interfere with picture quality and I don't have to clean tape residue off the lens before taking front-facing pictures.
