I tried everything in my garage to remove the rounded of lug nuts on my truck. It’s a jeep and they had a chrome cap over each lug. It made it hard to find the right socket to remove each lug. They ended up getting rounded over and the caps were destroyed. These lug nut removers did the trick. They effectively gripped onto each nut and allowed me to take them off with ease. 10/10 performance.

Works great had some lock lugs on my truck that got stripped out could not find a match these took them out no prob

Jecently bought a used Silverado, and missing the lug nut lock key, dealer wanted over $200, to get the replacement, due to several options, that were installed from the factory, so I bought this tool, very easily removed the locks, and just replaced with regular nuts, much cheaper

En mi experiencia en su uso: es una herramienta efectiva para quitar las tuercas y candados del vehículo que están barridos.Debe ser cuidadoso, ya que depende del diámetro del orificio en el rin donde se coloca la tuerca y de su profundidad para que funcione y no obstruya su uso, si la tuerca está muy profunda en el rin y el diámetro es menor al fondo, es posible que se atasque en el orificio del Rin y no funcione.Debe usarse con un mazo pesado, de preferencia, para que sea efectivo y evite golpes innecesarios.

I typically don't write reviews just because, but I had to because this little tool saved the day and a lot of headache.Had to do brakes on a Chrysler van. Chrysler uses a 2-piece lug nut. My impact gun couldn't break it loose, then, it ripped the top portion of the lug nut off completely and rounded out the remaining base in the wheel. I tried another extractor I had (which is basically a reverse thread style) and it couldn't grip anything, so it didn't do anything. Went online looking for another style of lug nut extractor, or even on on-wheel splitting device. I found this here and admittedly, I was very skeptical that it would do anything. I ordered anyway, and this arrived today.I went out to the van, using the 17mm extractor, I pounded it on with a sledgehammer, attached a breaker bar and first attempt didn't net much. Popped off the lug again and repositioned it, pounded it back on, and gave it one more college try. Snap... The lug nut broke loose.This thing saved a lot of additional hassle and headache. So surprisingly, I have to say I am a happy camper.

Definitivamente no sirve para quitar birlos de seguridad. La llave original la dañaron en la llantera, por lo que compré este kit; sin embargo, los dados sólo se desgastan pero no hacen las muescas que se supone harían al birlo para permitir el giro y quitarlo. Tal parece que sirven únicamente para tornillos de material de mediana resistencia, quizás birlos comunes.

Los extractores se ven de buena calidad, se siente como un dado de impacto, el único detalle que tiene es que las medidas no está grabada solo está pintadas y tal ves con el tiempo se borra. De todo eso se ve de calidad.

I had the unfortunate Ford swelling lug nuts and ford wanted to charge me $300 to replace their defective nuts on a vehicle with 33k miles. Anyhow, I was able to get off 16 of the 20 by hammering on a 19mm socket. The last 4 were too stripped so I bought this extractor kit. The first 2 came off fine (you have to hammer the socket on). But it wore a bit. The last 2 required that I switch from a rubber mallet to a claw hammer to get the extractor socket on. These are basically limited use tools. If you have a few nuts to extract, it will work. If you are a professional nut extractor, I’d buy a more durable tool.
