I love this cape so much! It's light and airy and so soft! The ties are affixed securely and it weirs comfortably. I am just over 5'5 and it drags the ground when I am flat footed, which is a definite win!

The cape is a rich purple color (the last picture is the most accurate color). The velvet is like a thin panne velvet but nice. The edges are serged, not hemmed. The hood fits loosely and drapes perfectly. The cape covers your arms but the shoulders are not cut for this to completely cover your body for an adult. The cape hangs 62" long from the back of the neck and flows on the floor depending your height. I am 5'9" and it flows on the floor. If you wanted to elevate this cape for a fancy costume, you could add trim to the edges and a great throat clip or satin frog closure. Great item. I might need one in another color.
