I had a wire track light in my kitchen that was ready to be replaced. I loved the look so much, I wanted to replace it with a similar wire track light. Surprisingly, this one was only a very few that I found, not only on here, but on a Google search. I didn't like the price. I think it was a bit overpriced but still purchased it. Result, I couldn't be happier how everything came out after remove/replace. It looks better than the original I had! It's given my kitchen a modern and elegant look. Now, much of this is due to the lamp bulbs that I got for it. Be ready, they are around $25-30 bucks each! Be sure that you follow the manufactures watts and volts for the bulbs! This is what brought my original lamp to an end. But like I mentioned before, I am very happy how everything came out and so will you! So, this wire track lamp is $220, and the five lamp bulbs came out to $130, total...$350! Yes, it is pricey, but folks, you will love the look of this lamp that has multiple applications! If you can stretch the cost, you will not be disappointed!

Was so easy to install the cables and the lights and it looks great. Will be replacing halogen with LED so wish that was an option instead of having these halogen bulbs left over and the extra cost.

I purchased 2 sets to use on a 13' beam because I wanted more than 5 lights and to purchase each light individually is ridiculously expensive. I used all 10 lights and I love it! I followed the advice of others about how to replace the bulbs with LED equivalents to be used with a dimmer. I purchased an LED-compatible dimmer at Lowe's and I replaced 9 of the 10 fixtures with 4W LED's (Torchstar) and left one with the 20W halogen bulb. This provides 56 watts being used on the fixture and allows the dimmer to work properly. Installation was, for the most part, easy but if you've never replaced a fixture before, I would not recommend starting with this one. You have to get things level and measured off properly and doing this over a long span can be a little trying if you don't know what you are doing. The lights are adjustable to be pointed in any direction. I really liked the look of the turnbuckles provided but there are only 2 provided with each kit. The other 2 ends are just 1-piece stobs (which are shown in the picture). This is fine if you are going from a ceiling mount on one side to a wall mount on the other but I do not like the idea of using 2 different ends if you are going wall to wall or ceiling to ceiling. This, of course, is just a personal preference on looks. I used turnbuckles on all connections and am happy with the look.
