It's very easy to use. I can stream my smartphone to any monitor or TV with an HDMI port. I just plug in the receiver (RX) into the TV, wait for the screen to go blue, press the Smart View button on my smart phone, select the device, and then in a few seconds, it streams! I added an image that shows what the Smart View button looks like on my smart phone.The device lets you edit the orientation, but most TV's and monitors will let you do that in the setting. Plus, the Smart View on my smartphone let's me do that too. Just push the button on the receiver (RX) when it is not streaming any visuals, and then the orientation will change. But I prefer editing the ratio and orientation (portrait vs landscape mode). I added images to show how I do it via the smartphone, not the device.Lag is minimal. Maybe not adequate for extremely high response time games like an FPS, but you can play a platformer game like Mario comfortably.The device reaches really far too, I was able to make a connection from the main floor to the basement, so the reach distance is very far.Cable is sturdy, and the device is not very big. I've posted an image that shows it.

We were sceptical about such an expensive product with the relatively unknown brand name 'TIMBOOTECH', but our scepticism subsided, the instant we fired up this kit, it worked perfectly straight away. There literally is very little effort setting up the device, which really does put the majority of other plug and play claims out there to shame, connection is instantaneous, and performance is near excellent.We have had a few issues with latency on occasion, however, with repeat playback of the same video sources, there were no issues. The initial issues most likely occurred from our Wi-Fi, there was possible signal drop-out, or it could have been due to random high usage spikes from our other devices.

I purchased 2 of single transmitter models for work because of impractical running lines from our computers to external monitors and they worked great! Easy to setup and no picture degradation. I was so impressed with the quality of the video I purchased a double transmitter and a single transmitter model for myself and my kids which are using them for their gaming systems.

This HDMI wireless transmitter and receiver are well-made. The package came with two transmitters, one receiver unit, two adapters and cables, and small instruction booklet. On the receiver end, it has a dual attachment for power and external receiver sensor on the same cable. You will have to looking for a USB-C port with 5V 2A to power the receiver. It’s no really plug-n-play setup, but after working on it, I’ve finally get it to work. However, I have encountered a few issues where the image and sound were frozen for a second or two. Latency is acceptable when you send still image or stream video.
