It's basically a roll of thick silicone clear tape. It's pretty flat, and you need to 'fold' it into half yourself and tape along the way very carefully. I can't do it perfectly and it'll look a little bit unflat. But it could do the job by protecting the shape edges.

The adhesive is quite strong, which is great! It's thick as well but has a strong chemical smell when unwrapping. The smell went away after almost 48 hrs, so it's not a big deal. Had to put on corners carefully with how thick the tape is. But it gets the job done

I have tried a number of corner protection products before my sons first steps and most of them have their place. This one is very good for any odd shape like an outside corner or floor moulding or window moulding. Outside of its high shine its not really visible which makes it very useful for spots you don't want gaudy corner guards. I have been hitting it quite a bit with my 5 lb weight, as it is thin I wanted to be sure it performed its primary function of damping shock, and its holding up well and seems to be dampening it enough my surface underneath is holding up as well.The product is 1.1ish inches wide and I tried wrapping around both sides of a .75" particle wood desk and it wouldn't stay stuck with that tiny over wrap on each side. I will work fine on a piece of 1/2" board wrapped around both edges and seems to provide good corner protection like that. Which is great for my use.

I like this clear edge protector strip because it's clear and is not so much of an eye sore as some protector strips are. This does a pretty good job of helping make it safer for babies and toddlers who can be accident prone. It seems to work well and I'm hoping that it will last well and also come off easily when I want to remove it.
