Works well to provide smaller 1/4" coupler onto 1/2" drive impact tool. The spring-loaded collar holds 1/4" bits and hex-head sockets securely in place - and facilitates easy bit changes. Durable impact level material should prove a long service life. Worked out very well for me to drive some very long lag screws into wooden fence using high torque power of impact tool (too much for power drill).

This is exactly what I needed to drive my T45 bits with my 1/2 inch impact wrench. Perfect and held up to driving 8 inch timber screws into wet pine lumber.

Now I can use all the screwdriver bits and whatnot and swapping bits is fast.Ended up using the Dewalt Robertson bits that handle the impact and torque better.
