It did straighten the line and it was not difficult to use. Since then, I've seen others use nothing more than a board clamped to a bench with the correct size hole drilled in it, to pull the line through and get similar results. May haps that will save you from buying different size straighteners for a small sections of different diameters...

I like my finished work to look correct and not all wavy and bumpy so i straighten the lines.Used on NiCopp lines and it performed perfectly.Easy to use, a simple device but my time is valuable and I could just run this over the lines and straighten them as needed.Yes i know one can build a homemade version, but this one works perfect and is portable and I don't have time to spend re-inventing the wheel or using the sketchy force through holes in boards method.

I'm not sure If this is boxed wrong or what but there is no way it's fitting on 14 inch tubing. Product is being returned

It straightens rolled tubing very well. It will straighten miss made bends also.

This tool works great. Personally I think it is over priced. It is not a must have tool but rather a good to have tool. So if you work on changing brake line on a regular basis it is worth it. I did purchase both the 3/16” and 1/4 “ version because I am rebuilding a couple of old cars that needed all new brake lines. The tool is solid and should last a long time. It works well on both NiCop and regular steel brake tubing . I haven’t tried it on stainless tubing yet. The regular steel tubing does require more physical effort to straighten.
