Leaks for some reason. I would avoid. It has nice gaskets but leaked like a sieve.

I love this design, it’s the best I’ve seen. However, I didn’t test it before the current camping trip we are on. It has an unfortunate manufacturing defect and leaks ready through it as seen in the photo. Will have to return when we get home. Will upgrade this review if the replacement works as it should.UPDATE from 2 stars to 5 stars. The replacement was received in a timely manner and worked perfectly on our trip this week!

Durable container. Great place to store and transport water. Good 2.6 gallon capacity. Easy to fill spout. Easy to dispense water out of.

The Tohomes ~2.5 gallon (10L) water jug is made from a very heavy duty, odorless (thankfully!), BPA-free plastic. Its unique shape is, mostly, convenient (it tips over easier during travel if not nestled in tightly). But, because of its design, pouring from it is easier than pouring from conventionally designed jugs.It has two, very well-sealed, leak-proof openings, each with a different purpose: one for pouring, one for filling. Its smaller, 2.5 gal capacity makes handling it much easier than the heavier and larger 5 gal jugs. We purchased one Tohomes jug and liked it so much, we bought another.

I wanted a smaller water jug to fit in the packing areas I have left. These work really well. No leaks and the spigot is a really nice thing to have. They aren't as rugged as a MWC, but they are a ton more handy so the trad off of not being able to toss them around is worthwhile.All areas are nicely silicone gasketed so they are as leak proof as can be.
