Inflates and throws/feels like a real football. The glow makes it's visible at night and in the dark. Makes it possible to play outside just a bit longer on the short winter days!

Bought this for our teenage boys who play minor Football- they really have fun with this to play at night. The football lights up really bright! The grip is good. Good value for the money. Just ensure you have a pump to inflate it and your good to go!

This football is exactly what I thought it would be. It pumped right up, and when you pull the tab off the batteries become connected. The tab was kind of hard to pull off to the point where the batteries were pulled out at first. That was sort of beneficial because now I know how to replace the batteries.It has a motion sensor on the lights so that it turns off when not in use pretty quickly. However, it turns on immediately when you begin to throw it.The rubber is like any type of "hutch football" for those who remember those. It gives a great grip, but it can be tough to catch the ball because it is the size of a regular football.We've used it twice spending about 10 to 15 minutes throwing it around at night. So far, the batteries are still good. I don't know if this thing will keep water out of the battery compartment. I'm sure it will be fine in rain, but I would not test that theory. I'm not worried about getting shocked. I'm worried about the small wires and battery contact points corroding. I would not use this in a pool even though it would be very tempting. The minute someone submerges it I would think that water would get into the battery compartment.However, the mechanism that lights up the ball seems like it can be easily replaced if necessary. It's just an LED light with three small watch batteries stacked up underneath.
