I'm not an expert biker, just somebody who uses their mountain bike a fair amount on largely undemanding terrain. So all I demand is good stopping power and no squealing. I've had a lot of trouble with squealing from my previous set of pads but these seem to have cured that, for now at least. Stopping power seems about the same as the last set, but I rarely go out in the wet or descend mountains so I'm not saying they're amazing. They are good enough for me.
