This switch has been working in my setup for over a year now with no problems at all. It is more than fast enough for a home network and the POE works great to power my wifi AP.

This device cannot deliver sufficient power for wireless access points despite claiming to be able to.I bought this switch as a convenient device for testing out wireless AP placement before install.Despite claiming to handle 802.3at and deliver upto 30W something is not working well and is resulting in a reduced output power from the AP (and thus a reduced WiFi range).Plugging the same AP into a beefier TP-Link Omada switch (with the same per port power claims although much higher combined power) the AP delivers the expected WiFi power, so clearly this is down to the switch. Basically it looks like TP-Link are making claims that they don't deliver on. I'd say if you are after an 802.3af switch to power just the one device then this is probably great. Anything more than that it doesn't look to be up to the job.If you don't care about PoE and want to spend a premium to get a basic dumb switch then there is nothing wrong with it from that perspective. It's simple plug n play, does the switching job fine. Just don't buy it if you want it to deliver power, particularly with access points where the fact that it can't deliver the power will manifest itself as a significantly reduced (40% in my case) reduction in WiFi signal strength (this is even with the APs manually configured to use 802.3at power).

Needed a unit to fit a LAN lead from laptop and my hive unit. This is excellent, takes more if needed but being a person that feels the cold need to keep warm while working. My wifi fits straight into it and then the LAN leads go in - brilliant value

Got this installed in an airing cupboard in a traditional English home with the door closed - not optimal, but where the CCTV and WiFi AP cables terminate.This is currently powering a Reolink Doorbell, RLC-410 and a TP-Link EAP225. Works a treat and has no issues with the heat, runs stable and the devices are amply powered with no downtime. The main downside is that the thick section of lead - the 3 prong to the power brick is a little shorter than i would have hoped, but overall power cable length is ample for the device.Would recommend for a little cheap and cheerful small range CCTV setup in a general suburban area
