This tripod is VERY light, weighing in at just 445g (424g without the camera holder) -- that's just under a pound. This makes the tripod easy to carry, but it also means that it's not as stable as more robustly-built tripods and would not be so good for heavier cameras or equipment. However, to hold a phone or a small point-&-shoot camera, this tripod is great, though given its light weight, it may be affected by wind. It's nice that the tripod comes with a phone holder. It also comes with a protective bag to hold the tripod and the sleeve. While the tripod is good, the protective bag is not. It's made of a rather flimsy fabric and seems almost disposable. There is a drawstring on the bag, but no spring-loaded plastic lock to hold the bag shut (yes, I can tie a slipknot, but it would have been nice to have the lock). There was also no handle on the bag or lashing points to secure the carry bag to a backpack. A wee bit more thought into this carry bag would have gone a long way towards improving my overall impression of the tripod's quality. This criticism aside, as a lightweight tripod this works well. It's great for phones and other small cameras.

Overall, this tripod is as described. Functionally, it is super lightweight, which is great, but the tradeoff is that one bad tumble with this thing and it's likely to crumple like a used soda can. But that's the tradeoff. The legs are aluminum with plastic parts otherwise. I'm using it for a laser level for job sites and it does everything I want it to do for that function I'm not entirely sure how long it will last in a construction environment, but, for what it is, it's a nice tool to have for keeping the laser in the right place long term without screwing it into a wall or hanging it on a ladder. It's worth noting, additionally, that the "carrying case" isn't doing this thing any favors and is basically a mediocre bag.Again, this tripod is what the seller is advertising it as. A super lightweight tripod.

First and foremost, the tripod's construction is great quality. Made from lightweight aluminum, it's the perfect balance between durability and portability. I can easily transport it from job site to job site without feeling weighed down, yet it remains sturdy and stable during use.The 1/4"-20 thread mount is compatible with a wide range of laser levels, allowing for seamless integration into my existing equipment lineup. The 18" height provides ample elevation for most applications, while the adjustable legs and 3-way flexible pan head offer additional flexibility to achieve the perfect angle and alignment. Plus, the built-in bubble level ensures that everything stays on the level.Overall, its a solid tripod for a very affordable price. I have used it for about a month now, and I am very happy with it.

When I saw this item, I had never purchased a tripod before and wasn't sure that I could use it with a cell phone. Yes! it has a special holder which slides open, (spring loaded) which allows you to use a large cell phone. For those of you who know what this tripod is actually designed for, I'd guess it is also great.Rubber feet anchor it well to most surfaces. Lastly, it is very adjustible. Great for me as I have slight motor control issues and I can't keep camera/phone still while taking a picture, or doing a video.
