I recently replaced my aging DVD player with one that has a built-in screen. But I will also use the new player to view DVDs on my HDMI-capable large screen television. These cables allow me to connect the two devices wirelessly, which is much more convenient than plugging the laptop or player into the HDMI port directly. I can say that the connection does work, although it took a few tries to get the input settings on the TV and the output settings on the DVD player working correctly. The wireless connection via my internet carrier seems fairly stable and I did not have any issues with buffering.

This is 1 of three different sets of wireless HDMI that I have tried/reviewed. This is in 3rd place largely because the unit I received did not come pre-paired. So, you need to have a paperclip or something small and hard like that that you can stick in and press the RX then the TX to pair.Instructions tell you how to do this and it works as per the instructions. When I initially set it up, the TV screen came up and showed it with a checkmark (having connected) but nothing was transmitting from my laptop. Because I have set up other ones, and read the instructions, my first thought went to pairing. I did check THESE instructions to see if it said "pre-paired" (the other ones call that out but this one said nothing about pre-pairing, just HOW to pair).Once paired, worked as advertised and just fine. Most of these units come with a cable for USB-C USB-A so it can be plugged into the unit and an open USB port on your transmitting device (laptop/PC/etc). This unit comes permanently attached to the unit/cable. If something happens to that cable (kinked/broken/cut/etc), throw all the pieces away.Odds of that happening are slim BUT I wanted to call it out if it is a concern to anyone. Some units have a separate cable from the unit so if something happens only the cable needs replaced. If the price is right for you on this, it does work as advertised, just (I at least) needed to pair it and then you do need to understand the cable is integrated.

My Experience with the lotorasia HDMI Extender”**Pros**:- **Easy Setup**: Setting up the transmitter and receiver was a breeze. I appreciated the simplicity—just plug and play!- **Stable Connection**: Most of the time, the wireless range worked flawlessly. However, I did encounter a hiccup with my PlayStation connection.- **Clear Picture**: The 1080P resolution delivered sharp visuals, enhancing my movie nights and gaming sessions.- **Solid Build**: The metal casing feels durable and adds a touch of quality.**Cons**:- **PlayStation Glitches**: Occasionally, the connection would freeze when using my PlayStation. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but it did frustrate me a bit.**Overall Impression**:Despite the occasional glitch, the lotorasia HDMI extender served me well. If they can iron out the PlayStation issue, it would be a perfect addition to any entertainment setup. 📺🔌🎮

This Wireless HDMI Transmitter/Receiver set has greatly simplified connecting my computer to various video sources. The Transmitter and Receiver are easy to connect, and video is clear and bright. I like the performance of this Wireless HDMI Transmitter/Receiver set and at a current price of about $50, I consider this to be a good value.

works great, not a noticeable amount of lag for watching tv, havent tried gaming on it because i prefer my computer screens. i keep it plugged in indefinitely which i know i shouldn't, it gets super hot and every 2 or 3 days it bugs out and has an error message on the tv. Is easily fixed by unplugging it and plugging it back in, but im a few months of consistent use in with it being on 24/7 and it works about as well as i wanted it to.Do note, if you are someone who can hear very high pitch sounds like that which outlets make, i don't recommend this, the sound gives ridiculous headaches. To everyone who can't hear outlets, its cheap and works fine.
