This purse is way too narrow for what I needed. But I will give it credit in the fact that it is spacious, but it doesn't move very well. The flexibility on this is not great.I love the design and I love the colors but it just wasn't for me.

I hav now used this handbag on two overseas trips and I love it. It's roomy enough to carry all the stuff I need. It has numerous zippered pockets to store things. And it's light weight. The only issue is that the hooks do not attach the cross body strap securely to the bag. The lever doesn't stay in the anti theft latch and the whole attachment mechanism is farily loose. On a number of occasions the hook has become completely detached from the bag while I was wearing it and the bag fell to the ground. I read another review on Amazon saying the same thing. I emailed Travelon, hoping they would just send me a new strap. But they sent a long and confusing email about who was responseible for the warranty. So, I just wrapped clear adhesive tape around the latch so it doesn't open and will keep using the bag.

This is the second Travelon handbag in this style that I’ve purchased, in black.I almost did not order the second one, because the first started to pull apart along the stitch line where the leather and nylon sections join. There’s no way to stitch it due to inner lining and pockets. I only used it about six months and did not overfill contents.Otherwise it’s a great bag, holds essentials and great for travel. The hook locks are nice and it fits easily under airline seat too.So hopefully this second bag holds up or I won’t be purchasing from Travelon again.

It's a nice bag, but the shoulder strap hooks locking mechanism is extremely weak. There is a failure in production. Both ends of strap became unlocked and the bag completely fell to the ground as I walked across the street. NOT good.

I was looking for a bag that would carry my everyday items, plus a folder of papers. This fit the bill. It carries a letter-size manilla folder in which I usually have 10 to 15 pages. I can slide it into a separate pocket in this bag. I also carry 2 checkbooks, a long wallet, a pocket sized notepad, an at-a-glance monthly calendar, reading glasses, sunglasses, my keys, and my zipper pouch that holds pens, lipstick, mascara and ibuprofen. I don't travel light, haha!! I would probably have room for my Kindle too.I like the gray color. It's not flashy and it matches everything. The zippers slide great and you can clasp them shut. The handles are a good length for carrying on my shoulder, or I can carry the bag in my hand and it doesn't touch the ground. Lots of pockets.I took my brand new bag to the movies the first night and got popcorn butter on it! But it wiped off with a tiny bit of Shout on a damp washcloth.I am happy with this Travelon bag!
