I did NOT want to put a bunch of tips on the ethernet cables running from upstairs down into the basement of my house. But I also didn't want to deploy a large, enterprise scale, patch panel either. This fit the bill. This allowed me to punch everything down and use a small footprint where it's very much out of the way next to the mpoe in my basement. I have a few cameras, AP's and devices throughout the house but I can't see growing past the 12 ports this supports. Excellent option for people not wanting to spend big bucks but want quality materials.I've punched down 8 cat6 cables (monoprice) and have no issues.

Wired all the loose cat5e cables in my new house into this which makes things much easier. No real issues, recommend you get a punch tool (a must). There are no issues, very basics seem a little expensive for what it is, but nothing else was cheaper and it is very solid.

Great device. Solid build quality and easy to setup and configure. Highly recommended for those simple home networks with a few ethernet cables running throughout the house/office etc.
