My home is in a rural area where "dirty power" (voltage fluctuations and power surges) are commonplace. After utilizing a variety of different surge protectors I have found these to be the best. These have eliminated control board failures and have enough surge capacity to absorb the load without tripping the breaker in the unit. That is a rare combination to find. I utilize them for major appliances (check your amperage requirements), furnaces, TV's, my Mac and other sensitive electronic devices.

Purchased for my generator. It works very well however the ground light is on. The generator is grounded with a 4 foot copper rod so it's not a concern. Well built and sturdy.

Si no tienes bien tu instalación eléctrica en este caso Fase, Neutro, Tierra física. Te vas a dar cuenta. Si falta tierra física se prenderá en rojo y muy tenue en verde el led verde de protección.

I’ve been using the 4-outlet versions for years to help protect my more expensive electronics.They can be a bit pricey but are a great value if you can catch them on sale. The product seems more appropriate for more expensive electronics like TV’s, stereo equipment, musical equipment, etc.I purchased the 8-outlet model and as expected, it has the same solid construction and feel as my other TrippLite surge protectors.Be aware that depending on the plug types you’re trying to connect, you will not be able to fit 9V ‘wall warts’ side by side on every outlet, as the spacing between outlets is limited.Also, the cord connects to the plug at a set 45 degree angle, which can sometimes interfere if you’re sharing a duplex wall outlet with something like timer, since the timer has to plug into the lower outlet and the TrippLite has to plug into the top outlet and ends up making contact with the timer. Not really an issue having the ability to swivel the cord connection would be a nice feature.

Recommended by a friend after purchasing our treadmill which was constantly tripping our breaker. A little on the pricier side but you can tell its a quality product and most importantly we stopped having issues with the breaker after using this! Would recommend.

Industrial grade, will last years. I sourced this unit as it has some of the highest power surge protection ratings, over 3,000 Joules. Other brands charge the same price, many have half the surge protection value,and do not have the same build quality. Five star product!

Al momento de conectar este producto al enchufe de la pared te dice si existe problema en la conexion encendiendo un foco rojo; segun he visto en varios videos, este producto tiene mejor proteccion que muchos de sus equivalentes, tiene carcasa de aluminio que lo hace muy resistente y protege el circuito de ruidos externos. El cable es mas largo de lo que necesitaba pero me da la opcion de usarlo para otras aplicaciones si lo llego a necesitarlo. Un poco caro pero prefiero hacer un gasto mayor por un producto de mejor calidad. Los conectores estan muy firmes en comparacion a otras marcas, lo que conectes en estos enchufes se quedará conectado incluso si estan mirando hacia abajo. Recomiendo ampliamente.
