Tried that calibration using the target provided in the packaging as well as online downloads. Nothing worked. Took it to a shop that specializes in calibration and same issues. Would not cycle through the proper sequence. Fortunately I still had the broken mirror and was able to pull the camera out of it and install in the new mirror. No calibration needed and works fine.

You will find multiple TRQ mirrors which say the will work for you application. I suggest comparing the wiring harness connector to ensure it matches your current mirror.2015 Honda Civic EX – How to calibrate LaneWatch camera1. Car off. Do not start the car.2. Press and hold the car start button for 2 seconds, then release.3. On the radio screen hold down the Power Button, the Eject Button, and the on screen Home Button for a few seconds. You will hear some winding noises.4. The screen will change and you will see two options. The top one is Self-Diagnosis Mode, the bottom option is Detail Information & Setting. Tap on the bottom option.5. The next screen will show ten various things to tap on. Tap on Functional Setup6. The next screen will show six various things to tap on. Tap on LaneWatch.7. The next screen will show the LaneWatch settings. Select Aiming Start8. Next Press the LaneWatch button on the turn signal lever.9. If “While Aiming IG-OFF is OK” appears on the display audio screen, the aiming process was successful. Press “ok” on the audio screen display Press return multiple times to exit. The aiming process is now complete.I purchased the TRQ Mirror Power with Side View Camera MRA07478Included with the mirror was a full size aiming target and instructions for mirror aiming for a 2016 & 2017 Honda Civic.I followed the directions for placing the target. Everything went fine the first try.My existing painted covers did fit on the replacemet mirror. Not a perfect fit, but close.I taped the aiming target on a cornhole board and leaned it against a dolly to help support it.

As a real life full time professional mechanic of 28-29 years I installed this on the car in 30 minutes, perfect fit. The camera worked however distance lines are up in the air. That's what the alignment process is for. So I proceed. The provided target is excellent however the camera refuses to align properly and loses connection after every attempt. Fun thing is, once you attempt alignment you must succeed for the camera to work at all. I did however salvage the camera from the broken mirror and install it into this new unit and it aligned properly and the customer is on their way. It just took 3 hours longer that it should have and I had to go all MacGyver on it.

I broke my mirror and was scrabbling to find a replacement, found this one & had someone install it for me. It was like I never had broken my original mirror, also calibrating the camera is really easy once you get it aglined correctly. Do not toss the big paper with the dots you need it, I accidentally threw it out with the box & managed to find one online that worked just fine.Over all satisfied with this purchase & glad I didn't chip out more money for it.
