This product had manufacturing flaws most all of the threaded part were not machined properly this light metal material will not hold up to a professional usage. Returned immediately

This worked PERFECTLY for the small splash hi-hat I wanted. I mounted this to the existing snare post for my Tocco Kick Boxx and there's room to clip on to it if need be. I can think of a million uses for this.

The old saying, you get what you pay for. It’s well designed and I like how it functions, but it’s made from the cheapest possible materials which makes sense given the price. The clutch t-nut stripped out immediately, however it seems to be holding in place anyway. I’m going to enjoy it until it in inevitably breaks at which time I’ll be glad I got the chance to see if I like having an aux hat and then buy a better quality version.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to warn folks to NEVER buy this product under any circumstances. For context, what you see in that photo is what remains of the clamp, along with the two wrenches (plus every ounce of strength I had, over the course of 45 minutes) that it took to remove the clamp from my hi-hat after ONE gig. Basically, once you have this thing screwed on you'd better be happy with it, because it is NOT coming off without a pretty herculean effort. I am not sure why it was designed in such a way to be COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE to unscrew, but trust me you don't want to mess with this thing. Honestly, I had a hunch it was lousy the moment I opened it. The metal they used to construct it feels incredibly weak/shoddy. I should have known, based on the low price, that this thing would be sub-par. What I did not expect was for it to legit be the worth purchase I have ever made. I wish I could give this half a star. I am also debating buying another one just so I can open the package and place it directly in my trash can.
