The rails were easy to install, taking about an hour. They were made of good material.

2022. XC4. Fit great. Installed myself. They whistle a bit so you just got to get used to that.

I order this rack based upon reviews and the fact that I might need it this year. The reviews were right... it's a very solid and easy to install rack. I took my time and it took about 30 minutes from start to finish. I drove in some very windy conditions, and did notice some extra wind noise, but I've ordered a fairing which should eliminate that noise. I have no doubt that this rack will carry our large roof pod without any problems.

BEWARE!!!!!!!1. I bought this and assembled it. The bolts and nuts that hold the bars to the side rails are defective.2. I ordered a replacement. The replacement was worse than the original. I cobbled the best of the two with not much luck.3. BINGO... I sprayed WD-40 on bolts and added lithium grease and was able to get it completed4. The company inserted a note in the package indicating they were a small new company and gave an email to contact them if encountering any problems. I sent them a note giving them options to address quality control or adding instructions to use a lubricant in assembly--- NO RESPONSEOnce attached -- the rack works!!!!! However -- beware

This looks great, it's holding up well and looks the same as the much costlier Volvo OEM option. My only caution is that I would never have been able to install this myself. The directions weren't sufficient ( they barely made sense) and the installation was tricky. Thankfully, my 17 yr old son is bigger and more handy than me and he saved the day but it took both of us a while to figure these out and get them on the car.
