Poor craftsmanship ship, they send out damaged products that have pieces missing and no hardware to put it together

I love this book. It's LARGE! It's BEAUTIFUL! It's UNIQUE! It's is THICK with rustic, artisanal paper sheets that are excellent for writing, sketching or artist's endeavors. The cover is so beautiful, with highly detailed punched leather work and leather stitching and bordering! It has 7 rounded, oval stones embedded in the cover that may represent "chakras". I am not into "chakras", so I purchased white quartz stones of the same size and replaced all 7 and I love it. To me, it reminds me of the 7 seals of the Book of Revelation in the Bible. I bought it for myself but it would make an excellent gift for any creative person! The price is amazing, especially considering how thick and artistically made this book is. It has two "medieval" looking clasps to help finish the ancient look of this book! I have a hard time finding blank books that work well for my Biblical Hebrew Calligraphy but this is perfect. I use felt tipped calligraphy pens and they work well with minimal bleeding. Sometimes they do bleed little dots on the opposite page side, but I am using 5 millimeter nibs and that is to be expected. I merely use white out or off white paint marker to touch up the opposite side and start a new page with minimal page distraction from it. The texture of the paper takes a little getting used to but so does every single paper we artists work on. If the paper didn't have this texture, it would not have the look of an ancient document. Some of the pages have wrinkles (very few) but the wrinkle can be wetted with water and stretched taped down with masking tape and weighted for a short time on the opposite side. When the water has dried, the the wrinkle goes away.

This book is well made and is pretty darn big which I'm quite pleased with. Reminds me of the book of shadows on Charmed but not as thick. The stones are so pretty and the paper is smooth. I was worried it would be too small but it's gorgeous and big! 😍

Wonderfully crafted. I opted for the larger size and I'm impressed with it. The clasps for closer work great and the leather feels good and looks beautiful. The pages are thick but not so thick that they're hard to turn. The book will feel and look larger once I scrap together things for my intentions with it. Over all, I would order this again
