I was excited to get this light. The tiny cube light market has been white-only for quite some time, and the accessories looked like they could push this product into home run territory. Overall, however, some easy opportunities were missed, some design choices were made with cost over output in mind, and the result is that this is a *decent* light, but ONLY IF its limitations fit your needs. Here are the three things I wish I'd known before ordering:1. The included accessories are mid. The gobo does its job, but at a cost: it cuts the light output down to a level that makes it only practical in an otherwise entirely dark area. It's so dim as to be relegated to "gimmick" status, which was disappointing. This is more the fault of the attachment than the light; putting 1800 lumens through the gobo resulted in only marginally better usability, and still not sufficient light to throw the gobo shapes into a scene with any other real light involved. The dome diffuser is slightly more useful, if you need it to soften shadows, but given that the light source is already a bare LED, softer shadows are the only benefit here.2. The CCT mode is limited to brightness and temperature. There is no tint adjustment. The unit I had threw a distinct greenish cast, and unlike with some competitive products from other manufacturers (such as those you might find hooked up to a smaller rig, for example), there is no green/magenta adjustment available. If your unit is slightly magenta or slightly green, that's what it'll be. This makes it problematic for use in multi-light setups, as you can't truly match other whites. This makes it unsuitable for my production use.3. The RGB mode has no saturation adjustment! So you get 360 colors plus the whites, rather than the tens of thousands of hues available from the competition. If you're into the RGB Twitch streamer look, where everything is an INTENSE color, you might never notice this. But if you're doing product or macro photography, sometimes you want a subtle color. Other lights have the ability to mix white with the color to soften the saturation, but with this unit that requires a second light source and careful balancing. The point of having a tiny cube light is lost when you need a second tiny cube light just to make pink, lavender, sky blue, or other non RED/GREEN/BLUE (emphasis mine) colors. This limitation makes the product generally unsuitable for my production use.Overall, if none of these matter to you, you'll be quite happy. If you just want a deeply saturated fill light, such as to light the wall behind your subject in dramatic fashion, it does that job well. But if you were expecting a light which can do more than the "8 colors" box of crayons, well, we're still waiting on Lume Cube to put out their RGB cube, it seems.

It's a nice little light with good output. The accessories are nice. I have to admit the snoot/spotlight isn't as good as I thought it would be. There's a distinctive halo around the edge of the light, especially at certain distances.

This is a very nice light for product photography, and it’s capable of serving as a lead or fill light in low light settings. The package includes barn doors, a gobo attachment with some slides and a diffuser. Has special effects, and CCT/HSI/RGB modes. Great for display lighting. It has a magnetic back plate and charges via a USB-2 to USB cable (included), all included in a nice hard cover carry case. The light maintained good illumination for over an hour for me and will vary depending on intensity settings.
