Short of it: I’ve been using this for 10 days, and it’s a God-send! For my elderly, extremely picky dog, it works. It seemed pricey at first glance, but I use less than a fingernail amount each time, and I’ve barely made a scratch in this jar. I think it will lasts a long time. I have a tiny dog, but honestly, we just barely have to cover the pills for him to take it. I got the chicken flavor, and I can only assume he likes the taste! I haven’t tried it, nor am I lol. It doesn’t have a slight dog-treat scent to it, but it’s extremely mild. The only near complaint we have is that it can make your fingers smell a little like the paste. So we just use a butter knife to scrape a tiny bit out each time! Super simple, and such a relief for me not to stress about my baby getting his meds.Long of it: I have a 13 going on 14 year old toy poodle named Knight. He has a heart condition which requires him to take 3 pills a day 2x a day, every day, for the rest of forever. He’s been taking these pills for two years now, and it has been a nightmare. He hates taking pills. He has always hated taking pills, for his entire 14 years. He is the type of dog who always knows, and half the time he won’t even deign to come near you if he knows you have a pill. And if he does show up, he spits out the pill and eats whatever you tried to hide it inside.We have hid them in his food. We have used hotdogs, cheese, peanut butter, butter, pill pockets, prayer, begging, desperation, tears, and compromises. Nothing works consistently, and what does work makes me feel bad — it doesn’t sit right with me to feed my senior dog with heart problems ingredients that are greasy and unhealthy.I tried this pill wrap on a hope and a prayer, because he wasn’t taking his pills with anything. I didn’t have high hopes, because he hates pill pockets, but I was desperate. The first day I got it, I gave him little pinches of it throughout the day. I’m talking like, half the size of my pinky nail pinches. He ate it every time, which I thought was a good sign. That night, I took an equally tiny amount, the tiniest that would cover his pills, and he slurped it right up. The second day, he was even on his back legs doing little hops wanting more! It was like the heavens opened up.I’ve never seen my dog so excited to have a pill. He hasn’t missed a pill time once. He never spits it out. And my husband and I aren’t pulling our hair out trying to make him take a pill. The only one who seems sad in all this is my other dog, who misses her nightly hotdog she used to get when big brother was using them to take his pills lol.If you’re on the fence, try it. It might be a miracle worker for you too!

We have been using this for a few years! Our dog loves it and it has seen him through two surgeries. Better than pill buddies or other alternatives with no wheat containing ingredients, easy to use, and our dog thinks it tastes great (I can’t review that part)!

I have been trying out several types of pill wraps recently, trying to find what works best and is most cost efficient. My dogs require daily medication and these pill wraps make that process so much easier. Many similar products struggle to find the balance between not too oily and not too dry while still being soft enough to mold around the pill. This one has done a pretty good job there and it works very well. It is on the slightly harder side, so it may be a bit more difficult to pull some out of the jar, but it is extremely easy to mold. Considering all the factors, this product is one of my top two favorite options thus far.This pill wrap comes in a nice small jar with an easy to unscrew lid. You can reach into the wide opening to pinch and pull out as much of the product as you need. It wraps around the pill easily and holds together well without crumbling and falling apart. The jar is labeled with many of the important things I look for; ingredients, guaranteed analysis, manufacturing information and expiration date. I do not see calorie content listed. I did notice that the ingredients on the jar do not exactly match those listed on the product page, however. It is close, so maybe that had a slight change in formula, but I hope that gets updated. I included a picture of the ingredients, because I know these matter to those of us that have dogs with allergies. The expiration date on the bottle gives me over a year to use this jar up. I finally found the product size listed under the guaranteed analysis. It is 4.94 ounces.This product is easy to use and my dogs love the taste of it. It seems to be a good quality product with good ingredients. My dogs have had no negative side effects from this product and they are happy to eat up their pills each day. Comparing this to my usual selection of pill wrap, the quality, ease of use and price are all right about the same. I will definitely consider purchasing this one again.

I have went through all kinds of things to get my dogs to take their pills. Nothing but oatmeal cream pies have been able to mask the smell or taste of the pills. As we know the oatmeal cream pies are not a healthy option. Finally, I came across this product. My dogs love it. It’s easy to use and you can get as much or as little as you need. A little goes a long way. My dogs love the taste and smell of it.

The Under the Weather Pet pill wrap has a flavor and texture my dog loves!! He ate the whole thing right away and wanted more. I love this product because it makes giving him his anxiety meds so easy. And he actually likes it l!! No strange smell and great quality!!
