It fits it works the combo of this adapter and adapter for my Craftsman battery drains the battery if I leave it attached while I'm not using it. I'm not upset about that. I'm glad I found a solution.

This review is for the Uniki brand (made in China) DM20DC12 battery adapter. With it you can use the newer 18V or 20 V lithium batteries with your old DeWalt and Milwaukee power tools that use 12 V or 14.4 v Ni-CD batteries . I have a DeWalt DW991 drill that I bought in the '90s and uses 14.4 V Ni-CD batteries. DeWalt no longer makes these batteries. The drill still works great. In order to keep on using it, I had two choices: (1) buy replacement Ni-CD batteries of dubious quality from unknown companies or (2) get this adapter and continue using DeWalt batteries. I chose the latter option. The adapter fits my drill and the DeWalt lithium batteries perfectly. Out of curiosity, I put in the heaviest battery that I own, the 12 Ah 20V/60V Flex Volt battery. I wanted to see whether it would fall out. It did not. One final thought: You cannot charge your lithium batteries with your old Ni-CD charger by attaching this adapter to the batteries. You need to charge them with a charger specifically designed for lithium batteries.

It does seem to allow me to use my batteries to power my drill but it does not lock in place. The shape is all wrong. This means it immediately falls out unless held there. Makes the adapter relatively useless.
