Paid more so I could get the metal box and it came in the regular cardboard one. So just get the cheaper one it’s the same thing

Uno Teams is an interesting variation of the classic game. Rules are the same as the standard version, except two players now form a team, and the game doesn’t end until both players on a team are out of cards.Here’s where the game gets MUCH longer. Once a player successfully calls Uno and is out, that player takes half of their partner’s remaining cards and continues playing. The team doesn’t win until both players are successfully out. This adds additional depth to gameplay in that players must pay close attention to predicting what their partner has to support them best. If you’re playing with younger players, though, as I was, this added layer is more difficult for them to master and can somewhat hinder progress.UNO Teams also introduces two new wild cards (variations of the standard ones) and a new card swap action for some regular cards:Team Color ChangeAfter selecting a new color, the team color change card immediately passes play to the player’s partner. This comes with a risk, though. If their partner cannot play to the new color, the player must draw two cards as a penalty.Team Draw 4Instead of the next player drawing four when this is played, they and their partner draw 2. We really liked this one, especially for our younger players, as it feels less individually punitive.Team Card SwapSome regular numbered cards in the deck have a swap symbol. When this is played, the active player swaps one card with their partner.Overall, UNO Teams fosters more collaborative gameplay and attempts to add some strategic gameplay elements. However, it takes away from the frenetic fun of the game and, ultimately, is too random and challenging, especially for younger players, to draw out the strategic elements. Ultimately, it just felt like playing an exceptionally long round of UNO.

Ordered this for my neice as she is a big Uno fan. She really liked the idea of teaming up with another player, especially since Uno can take quite awhile if you have alot of players.The one downside is there's not alot of actual new printed content. This is mostly a rule change and not new cards.Still I would definitely consider this worth it and order it again.

I bought the metallic one because I wanted to last more since this is for my child, sadly it was delivered like that, the worst part is I'm no longer in the USA, so I cannot return it. Social media is right, Amazon delivery is the worst.
