Have a high mileage 2005 mini cooper S that I recently did water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing and radiator replacement. Did the super charger oil change while I was in there. When all was removed, the wear on the water pump o ring led me to do this piece too. No reason to skip it while you're that far into it. Glad I did because after removing the original, the o ring on the flat side where it mounts to the block was cracked and may have been the original source of the leak.When mounting to the block, don't tighten it down all the way, just snug it lightly first, and with your water pump all assembled to the super charger, put the assembly back together and make sure all the super charger bolts line up. With this part firmly attached but not too snug, you should be able to shimmy the SC and water pump to get it all lines up. Then carefully remove and snug down the two bolts holding down the flange.

It fit my 2005 Mini Cooper S. It includes the O-ring that is pressed between the flange and the engine block, but NOT the o-ring that fits around the water pump housing inlet on the supercharger side. Just remember not to fully tighten the flange until the supercharger is mounted.

Casting doesn't look as clean as the original part it replaced, but seems to seal okay so far.
