En 1971, Bert Grengs comenzó Grentec, una empresa de moldeo por inyección de plástico en Burbank, California. Comenzaron a fabricar válvulas de compuerta de RV, inodoros de RV, accesorios de plomería y más tarde algunos de los icónicos patines de plástico del sur de California como la "tabla de plátano".
En 1981, Bert se retiró y Valterra Products comenzó con su hijo, George Grengs, nuera, Patricia Grengs, hija, Barbara Glennon, y su yerno, Dennis Lunder poseedores de la nueva empresa.

I used 4x Valterra F02-2103 to replace all four 3”x3” flexible couplers that came with my Itasca Navion 2012. Based on other comments I was expecting these to be more rigid; they are about as flexible as the original ones. As another review pointed, it seems possible to make them more flexible by submerging them in hot water (removing the stainless steel collars before doing so).Installation was relatively straightforward. I needed to cut some zip ties in other to allow the rigid pipes to move enough to clear the way for the part replacement; make sure you have some replacement on hand. You’ll need two buckets to catch the deliciously smelling liquids that remain in the piping. Pick a windy day to work on this.
