I used this on the Motor and the ESC. Fan fits perfectly in both. Remove the foam cushion from the plastic housing on your MAXX. It might touch the fan hub and create resistance.That little foam piece actually made me think the OEM fan was bad. Removed the foam and the OEM fan worked again but I had already ordered these. After trying one I bought two. Fan has great airflow.

needed to replace Motor Fan for my Typhon 3s, when I received this one and plugged into the car it would not run, tested it on my Typhon 4s that had a WTF Fan on it and this one still would not spin, asked for a replacement and received replacement with in a week, plugged it in and still did not run? the plug will only go in 1 way because it polarity protected not to plug in wrong. I decided to force the plug in the other way and the fan Ran! blows really hard compared to the stock motor fan and seems really well built, I dont know if this is a Arrma problem for this fan or if there wiring there fans backwards? but to get this fan to work I had to plug it on the unprotected way to work, just a FYI to check if your new fan doesnt work
