Ok let me start off by saying I have never in my life owned or used a butane lighter but I recently decided to make a survival bag just incase society and humanity as we know it goes to h*ll and you need to survive on your own. Now I’ve already got other stuff for said bag like knives binoculars compass etc etc but that’s for another time now I’m on the fire building of the safety bag and I’ve already got a fire starter (flint and steel) but I also wanted lighters just in case I lose it and I did my research and I’ve got me a classic zippo lighter which would be useful like using it as a fire starter etc. but I also wanted a portable butane lighter just to have it for a variety of different situations where I would need one so I did my research and Ive seen plenty of different portable butane lighters and came upon this lighter and saw the good reviews and thought ehh what the h*ck so I get it luckily I also got some butane while I was at it and I get these 2 lighters and right out the gate it’s amazing small (tbh In my head I thought it would be bigger but it’s ok) it’s portable durable and powerful. (Also side note: for people wondering what to use to adjust the flame size on the bottom I find using the head of a nail to adjust the flame works best it fits well and adjusts easy and it’s thin enough to adjust the flame without stripping the adjustor knob that’s just in case people don’t have a screwdriver or some kind of tool to adjust the flame and don’t wanna use their fingernails) but if I have to give this lighter a 1 out of 10 rating. I’d give it a solid 10 it’s great but that could change at time goes on and I use this more and more but we’ll see right now it’s great 10/10 so if your debating on wether or not to just bite the bullet so to speak and buy this and yea I know it’s expensive but I tell you it’s worth it. So go ahead you won’t be disappointed. I like it. Hope this review helps.

OK, the flame control is a bit of a pain, but you typically only have to do it once. Otherwise, it works like a champ to light things even in a stiff breeze. The fact that you can see the fuel level is great. The value of 2 lighters at this price is pretty unbeatable. My only complaints are that the design is a bit bulky with the offset lighter button and it's a bit heavy compared to a Bic lighter. However, it feels like it will be a very durable unit.

I waited several months before writing this so I could see how it held up through daily use and multiple refills. I bought this after reading some reviews in cigar blogs. It lives up to its claims of lighting on the first click and staying lit in a moderate wind. It's charges easily with the butane refill cans you buy at most stores. I'm so pleased with the over all performance, I don't know what the more expensive torch lighters bring to the table; perhaps panache.( For you cigar smokers, I still do my initial light using cedar sticks for a soft start. (It's all about the ritual!) You can hold the torch a good distance away, but it's a bit harder to control since the torch is designed for heat! I prefer to light the wrapper, before the filler since I think it gives a longer even burn. Since the sticks don't work in even a moderate breeze or a relight at half-way, this torch is great! )

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my partner. Used them to heat up steel vape pens, so they stay "on" for around 10-15 seconds at a time.Pros:- Strong. I've dropped both of them a bunch with no issues.- Excellent adjustable flame- Holds a lot of fluid and doesn't need refilled often- Adjustable fuel flow. I like mine high, my partner likes his a bit lower. There is a small dial on the bottom to adjust the flame height and it's a very nice feature!Cons:- Gets hot if you use it for more than 10 seconds at a time.- Doesn't like getting cold. Starts to struggle to light around 58F-60F degrees- Doesn't like even a little bit of wind.Overall? 5/5 purchase. The downsides are not heavy enough to outweigh the quality for cost. These are cheap lighters that behave like midrange lighters. They've lasted quite a long time, and have outlasted plenty of rough treatment. If you want a good little pocket torch, this is it!

Absolutely awesome Butane lighter that is entitled to boasting rights of great function, feel, constructions, look, packaging, reliability, FLAME/FIRE!!! All this for the cost of “chicken feed,” and you get two!!! Mine arrived with butane and i’m thouroughly impressed. Online photos don’t compare to the reality of this Torch in your own hand to criticize! I hope I can get some vid and upload to this review when I light up my Cohiba Black, ACID Kuba Kuba, or maybe my CAO moontrance. Great gift for alpha male to alpha male. Hats off to vertigo, salutations to you all, and may your glasses be full and your ash be long on whatever “lung cookie” you are to enjoy!
