Thick material protects you from hot water and blades as long as you don't poke yourself or grab a knife the wrong way, will keep your hands safe from all those. A little hard to take off sometimes but maybe I just ordered the wrong size. Either way these are great gloves for washing dishes and each pair should last you a while.

Have had daily use for 5 months, and still in great shape. Worth the money.

Size m is tight on my medium fingers but maybe my fingers are getting fatter I dunno for sure. You should probably size up because it sucks to struggle to take them off without pulling them inside out. Super awesome gloves l!

They didnt last long for me, after using and putting them to dry in the sun a couple times, they actually started to melt and got sticky until they tore

The hand circumference reference for size is BS. Said I was a small, but my middle finger was a Medium. So I got the medium for caution. Turns out those were too small, and because I assume they are so durable there is very little 'give' in the stretch (which is good, if you had the right size), so I would say go by the middle finger and go 1 size larger.They were on sale, for 12 bucks and the nearest return center isn't close to me in LA so it's not worth the effort and time/money to do an exchange. I would rate the gloves themselves, but an item is only as good as the people getting them into your hands to use. Literally.
