The plastic point of attachment was damaged and was made very cheap. I would not recommend this as a long term replacement.

Definitely read over online video tutorials to remove the old one and to replace it with this. The little knob/notch that has to be moved took a good ten minutes to get the old one out. Then it took a good ten minutes more fiddling around with it to go back in. It was frustrating, but when complete makes this so worth it. While it is not a true exact match, it is so close that it makes up for the difference (5x-6x the price) with an OEM part. I am not banking on this lasting forever, but for a 12 year old vehicle, it sure does make sense...and works.

After a week its lose and won’t completely or securely return to static position, will probably get worse because it sure isn’t getting better.
