Control panel on my ice/water was acting up - wouldn’t respond to commands and eventually starting making strange noises. After some research I found this part would likely fix my issues. It’s been about 6 weeks and fridge is back to working normally. Easy install too

Fantastic fix for dead fridge. Wasn’t optimistic about the part bringing the fridge back to life but it worked like a charm. Easy to replace the part and watched a YouTube video along with the programming instructions and in about 5 minutes the fridge was working like new.

This was easy to replace on our Kenmore refrigerator. The water filter digital panel started flashing and soon after the fridge was no longer working. Replacing the control panel seemed to fix it and it's been running well for a few days now. Will update if we have any issues.

My 15 year old Maytag fridge stopped working. The front display was blank, the fan motor cycled on and off every 5 seconds and the compressor wouldn't cycle on. The LED's on the control panel would all light up simultaneously when pushing any single button, but the temp readout for the freezer and fridge were blank. The repair dude told me he thought the logic board was bad and offered to replace it, although he noted the unit was old and he couldn't promise a new board would fix the problem. He said the part alone cost $360 and told me I could install it myself to save his return service fee once the part arrived. Looking on Amazon, the replacement boards from a few sellers are under $100! That was way more acceptable as I would only be out that amount if it failed to work. A few options on Amazon cost $85. This one is $90. I chose it over the others as the circuit board images looked identical to my old board, and Amazon listed it as a preferred choice due to low customer return rate and high overall ratings. Of note, once you open the sealed anti-static bag the unit is shipped in, you can no longer return the item. However, I decided It was worth the risk of losing $90 if the board failed to solve my problem.The board worked flawlessly and saved the purchase of a new fridge. It comes with instructions for programming once installed and powered up. I had trouble programming it at first, but that was likely user error. After a few failed attempts, I successfully entered the program code for my fridge model and the unit powered on and started to function like new. It's only been one day, so I have no idea if this board is durable or not. At this point, I have my refrigerator back and I bypassed the hassle of buying new and sending the old unit to the junk heap.
