Does not work with whirlpool cabrio it will take away the door switch error but makes the screen glitch out when trying to lock them stops a minute early on any cycle also return process is awful says it will take 30 days for a refund when it only took a day for them to deliver it makes no sense don’t waste your time or money buy oem part!

Part fit great, solved the constant leak into the washer basin problem, but the part failed after only 4 months and flooded the laundry room. Luckily, my wife noticed the water. If it had happened while we were out of town, it would have been catastrophic. Ordered May 19th, 2024 and failed September 30, 2024.

I had been having some issues with my Whirlpool Cabrio Washer not locking and being unable to use it for a few days in a row. I initially thought it was due to the washer lid glass lifting up(design flaw) but once I fixed that I then found it was the actual lid lock component itself. I found this part, ordered it and it came within a day. Took me about 45 mins to replace the part just because of how you have to take the washer apart and circuit board apart. Once you’ve done it, it’s a cake walk. The part works perfectly, I’ve had no issues since install. So far, so good!
