First one shipped leaked, the second lasted only 7 months before leaking.

Purchased & installed 4/2023, it made a high pitched noise when in operation with water flowing. I turned down the hot & cold water supply to decrease pressure and the noise decreased to a tolerable level but did not go away. This also means the washer filled at a slightly slower rate than it should. Part failed and started leaking 2/2024 even when the washer was off. This part fits well and is functional but obviously constructed with low quality components that quickly fail. This time I purchased the genuine whirlpool inlet ($75), it is silent and not leaking, working great.
