1.Talla:2 Valve Core Remover + 11 Accessories

Had both low and high pressure service ports leaking on a 2004 Acura TL. Was able to remove the valve cores and replace both in 15 minutes and no leaks! Looking forward to having cold AC again this summer.

This thing worked amazingly well. My old truck's A/C quit working a while back - turns out the high pressure line Schrader valve had leaked out most of the refrigerant. I went to the local parts store and bought a new removable module that contained the Schrader and replaced it. It soon leaked down again - turns out that the low pressure valve was also leaking. I didn't want to open the system and potentially have to change out the dryer, lose or have to recover the remaining refrigerant, etc so I figured there must be a way to change the valve without depressurizing the system.Surprise, there is! Turns out it's really easy, but the tool is little known and hard to find. This tool seems pretty high quality, was easy to use, and completed the job quickly. The tool's end holds the Schrader valve tightly so it can be easily extracted and inserted. It also comes with several valves, so you don't have to get them separately.I was able to complete the job in under 10 min having never used the tool before and without any instruction (it's quite simple and straight forward). Within minutes I had my gauges hooked up and was recharging the system. Went on a ~700 mile road trip the next day in nearly 100 deg heat with nearly 100% humidity - air blew cold and everything worked great!Excellent addition to my toolbox. The only thing is that you'll need to look at how the service ports are situated on your vehicle. If the engineers were of little skill and/or were particularly sadistic, and tucked them away in a tight spot - you may not have room to use this tool.

This product works, but you have to have some skill. Practice several times with the valve core, get the feeling of the tip of the stem going into the tool and being retained by the tool. You don't want it falling out of the tool when you actually use it for real.I lost the valve core stem when I removed it, so I had to quickly blast it out using the valve. It shot out fast. IF YOU DO THIS, make sure to catch ALL OF THE LUBRICANT in a cloth. Weigh the cloth before and after so you know how much lubricant you will need to replace. In my case, I lost 20 grams of lubricant (~.67oz) when I shot the valve core out. I don't know how much refrigerant I lost, but I refilled using pressure readings on a manifold gauge set.The valve core stem may still leak after being replaced. Try tightening it finger tight only, incrementally until it stops leaking. Use 1/3 soap and 2/3 water as a leak checker, and remove any leak check fluid if you are filling the system through that port so you don't get it inside.None of these directions are on the packaging.Terrible valve cores, they're just plastic seals, no elastomer seal. Even $1 valve cores have elastomers.

The AC system on my Honda Element had started to blow hot. Compressor was engaged, fans were on, fuses and relays were good. I was about to hook up the manifold gauges and quickly realized the H side valve was leaking a lot. As soon as the cap was removed, it was just a constant hissing sound.Shops in this area wanted over $200 to evacuate the refrigerant, so I decided to try this tool and keep the system pressurized. It worked beautifully. I used the smaller valve core they included in the bag and it took me all of 5 minutes to swap out. Once done, the hissing is gone and I am good to recharge.Unfortunately the L side does not fit, but that's on me. I didn't check the sizes before I ordered this and they are clearly shown on the product photos.

I ordered this to replace the leaking Schrader valves in in our Honda HR-V, and it did the job well and fairly easily. I had read the reviews, was aware that many people had trouble with the rod failing to reliably retrieve the valve through the ballcock. The kit comes with two identical rods, one each in the high and low pressure units. Before I started, I "auditioned" each of the rods to determine if one was a better fit on the new valves, and, having determined that one was better at gripping the valves, I used that one for both sides. The low pressure side went perfectly. My first try at the high pressure side, the working space was tighter, and I had trouble aligning the tool so that the quick release lined up and would clip on the port. Once installed, I either dropped the valve retrieving it, or I failed to completely unscrew it before trying to retrieve it- the lack of working space made it difficult to feel when the valve was unscrewed completely. Not a fault of the tool, but something to be aware of. The second try went smoothly. All together it took maybe 8-10 minutes.
