While i wanted to like this it does not measure up. I purchased another W&W strap that was $5 more and the quality is significantly superior. WHY ? Are Walker and Williams straps being cloned ? too bad...

It’s comfortable and good quality for the price. For my electric guitar, I didn’t need the extra length of the extension strap, so I bought a cheap kit of leather hole punches from Amazon and used a 3/8 punch and razor blade to create another slot on the end.Finished it off with a small hole on the other end to prevent splitting. Also haves used the kit for a few belt loops and other things, so it’s been worth it.The extension strap is great for my acoustic, so it’s versatile, too.

SO SOFT! So beautiful.Leather is supple, rich, and has a Beautiful classic brown color. Feels strong. Smells good (no chemical smells). Should last decades if cleaned and oiled now and again.Very precise, even stitch work with high attention to detail (stitches end/start evenly, spacing from edge is VERY even). Classic yellow stitch color. No sharp edges - Metal edges on buckle and one rivet have been rounded and then chromed for very softly radiused corners.High quality - Zero complaints on quality and craftsmanship.WORTH EVERY CENT!(Though I do wonder why this model isn't a little cheaper than their more complex straps)This style of strap is iconic for reason - it works so well and looks so classy while doing so. Looks beautiful on my MIM fender player plus top strat!

I’ve had this strap over a year now, and it is excellent. I bought a new resonator guitar and needed a strap for it - I wanted something traditional, yet comfortable. This strap has a blues and ‘50’s rockabilly feel to it and it is exactly what I was looking for. I like it more now...rather let me say I “appreciate” it more now...because it is so comfortable. And honestly, I play without the shoulder pad, it’s that comfortable. At the same time, I also bought the Walker & Williams dark brown guitar head strap. The two straps pair very nicely together. My other guitars have had buttons for the straps, but not this one. I decided to try playing with the head strap, and if I didn’t like it, then have a button put on. But, and this is after playing with a head strap for over a year, it’s not as difficult as I’ve been led to believe.I liked this strap so much, I ordered the Walker & Williams C-19 strap. It’s basically the same as this strap, but, just a little bit wider (1 1/8”). I bought it for my Guild d25, and I don’t use the shoulder pad on it, either. The Guild is a bit larger than the resonator, so, a bit larger strap, makes sense to me.I highly recommend all of the W&W items I’ve bought so far. Good quality merchandise and good prices. AAA+++

A very nice strap overall. The leather is a PU leather, not what I was expecting, but it's nicer than many others I've looked at. A pretty good strap for the price.
